How to peel a kiwifruit

I wanted to eat a kiwifruit, and when I took a knife in my hand, I started to think that maybe there is an easier and not so ’sticky’ way to peel it. I searched the Internet and found this useful video:

Here is my result:

Not so pretty as shown in the video, but it’s definitely better than the way I had been doing it before. I guess I need some practice. :D

Playing The Sims3

I don’t even have to guess that many people have already been playing the Sims 3 since earlier than May (before the official release), so I’m not going to talk about that. Those who don’t know can find many references on the Internet.

I was discussing the game with my friend and told her about what happened in the family I had created. I decided to make a post out of it and maybe to continue posting here updates on what special/interesting is happening to them.

Here goes my first entry:

I have created a man and a woman – both young adults -, and they have 5 kids, because her lifetime wish is to raise 5 children from babies to teenagers. Now she wants to have another baby, but she is NOT going to have any more :D Five crying and shouting babies was more than enough for me to handle :D

I called a babysitter when parents went to work. A teen came and stood near the door all the time. Then a couple of hours before the end of their work, he came inside and stood near the cribs, covering his ears with his hands because babies were shouting :D He didn’t do ANYTHING , and I paid $75 for that!! 8O :D When they came home, all the kids were hungry, lonely, and one toddler had fallen asleep on the floor! Though, I have to admit that the one sleeping on the floor was feeling much better than all the others crying and shouting ;)

On a Walk

My friend and I went for a walk with her dog. She has a very nice German shepherd. We went through a park to a lake with swans and ducks.

We saw a swan flying with his legs in front, almost sitting. Not horizontally, like birds usually fly, but almost vertically. With his big white wings on the back like eagle’s, trying to break when he touched the surface of water, but he flew just a few centimeters above it.
We haven’t managed to take a photo of the spectacular view, because it happened too fast.

When I came closer, they started to hiss. My friend said they didn’t like the dog, but I still think they didn’t want me to approach. I didn’t have bread or anything, why would they want me? :)

Anyway, we still managed to take some photos of them:

On the way back, we saw a woman with a leash in her hand, but we couldn’t see any dog with her or around in the park, so we decided that she was taking a walk with her imaginary friend. :D
